<p><strong>Kulturo</strong> <br>&#8211; et institutblad for litteraturvidenskab. Vi har i redaktionen gjort os mange overvejelser over, hvad denne tilknytning kan og bør betyde for et blad. Det skulle jo gerne i en eller anden forstand afspejle dét, vi bruger vores tid på herude. Ud over at studere den klassiske litteratur som videnskabelig diciplin er studiet af moderne kultur og teori en vigtig del af litteraturvidenskab. Fagområderne bevæger sig ud over det litterære felt og afsøger moderne strømninger indenfor en række andre kunstarter. `Hér på faget&#8217; læser vi klassikere. Store, smukke, gamle og kendte hovedværker. Men samtidig vægter litteraturvidenskab også den nye teori, avantgarde-kunsten og nye postmoderne fænomener.<br><br><strong>Kulturo</strong> er de studerendes mulighed for at behandle, undersøge og diskutere disse moderne, tværfaglige emner. Hermed ikke stillet som noget krav, at artiklerne skal omhandle aktuelt stof eller behandle de nyeste teoretiske problemstillinger. Vi ser gerne at alle, der er interesserede, kommer med ideler til, hvorledes bladet kan gøres bedre. I foråret startede et nyt blad med tilknytning til litteraturvidenskab, Palpe, som ligeledes er et udtryk for skrivelyst- og engagement blandt de studerende. Men ellers virker det påfaldende, at der ikke er flere, der har tid til og mod på at skrive sig ud over de obligatoriske opgave-afleveringer.</p>



<p>I løbet af de seneste år er medierne og formidlingens rolle vokset meget, og det er blevet dikuteret, hvorvidt universiteterne vil sakke bagud i forhold til denne udvikling. Sammenlignet med de journalistiske og retoriske uddannelser fordyber vi os fagligt, men bruger til gengæld ikke så meget tid på formidlingsdelen. Og potentialet vinder ikke altid sit publikum. Det er derfor meget vigtigt, at vi under vores studieforløb ikke blot specialiserer os. men også lærer at omsætte vores akademiske ballast. Denne formidlingsrolle byder de studerende et mere praktisk arbejde, end resten af studiet. Og <strong>Kulturo</strong> er et oplagt forum for de, som gerne vil prøve sig selv af med at skrive og formidle deres viden. Det er også en mulighed for at skabe et mere engageret miljø på instituttet, fagligt såvel som socialt. Ellers vil man måske om 15 år spørge, &#8220;havde de studerende på litteraturvidenskab i det mindste et godt sexliv?&#8221;</p>
